# Challenge Your Potential

The capital of any industry is well-trained professionals who lay the foundation for success. CYP has been committed to training promising talent for the banking industry for more than 18 years. In our basic banking training, we prepare young people for a career in a bank, then we support them with targeted further training and help to keep them in the industry for the long term. CYP sees itself as a competence centre for future-oriented learning – sustainable and effective.

We see ourselves as a learning organisation and promote the development and use of collective intelligence. Our competence-oriented approach ensures optimal cooperation in transversal teams. All our training modules as well as our teaching are action-oriented. We focus on practice and work with concrete case studies - this is unique in commercial education in Switzerland. When learning is as practice-oriented as possible and as close to everyday life as possible, what is learned can be applied in a targeted manner in professional life and optimal learning success can be achieved. CYP follows this path consistently and carefully takes up new developments. As a result, we are not only optimally aligned in terms of learning effectiveness, but also in terms of action orientation. CYP creates a sound and practical knowledge base in basic education as well as promising development solutions.

# Strong partner of the banks

CYP was founded in 2003 by the five largest Swiss banks in cooperation with the Swiss Bankers Association. CYP is the leading competence centre for modern learning and a strong partner of the banks. Today CYP has 30 members, around 80 client banks and is an association entered in the Commercial Register.
